Beauty

Two poets, one verse: pure magic!

Please check my co-author of this poem Scylla Grand page.

This is a challenge where each poet writes an interleaved verse.

My eyes closed softly, blinding beauty
Music to the mind and soul
A breeze of constant, trapped smiles
Floating just beyond the mask
The one that hid my true self
Closed eyes, no beauty, right?

Just like darkness, I was blind.
To music and to time.
Without a real piece of me,
Nothing inside…
And, yet, I was still alive!
I looked behind me
The past smiled at me fondly.
