Enjoy your path
Lê em Português, aqui.
We are bare feet on the ground,
Hurt by the stones that get in the way,
Wet by the raindrops that fall,
Leaving our skin moisturized for some event.
We are lives traced by a constant walk,
Of those hills and ravines that stubbornly pass by,
Untangling our hair and hardening our gaze.
We are the future of the past,
The present of now,
A history of tomorrow.
Will there be tomorrow?
The stride is tense, the weary feet continue…
The eyes stubbornly tear, not seeing
That new ravine that’s almost here.
And our body falls.
On the ground, we look for strength to rise.
But what can we do?
If the water keeps falling on our skin,
If our shoulders no longer want to support us?
Feel that moment, on the ground.
What do you see if you look ahead?
An indeterminable path to walk?
A route of undiscovered adventures?
What does your mind seek ahead?
Enjoy every fall,
Feel every fatigue, every urge to get up.
Observe what surrounds you,
What makes you a walker?
There’s nothing but dreams,
Dreams of new paths,
Steps of new smiles,
New dawns that make us rise again.
Enjoy your path.
